YEREVAN. – All political prisoners will be released by May 28 in Armenia, member of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Lyudmila Sargsyan told journalists on Thursday.

She noted the issues related to release of political prisoners are the focus of world community recalling that CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammarberg also mentioned about it in his recent report on Armenia.

Lyudmila Sargsyan expressed content with the report noting that Hammarberg made the Armenian authorities carry out an investigation into March 1 events by preparing tough report.
