YEREVAN. - According to National Statistical Service, 499 concerts were organized in Armenia in 2010 with a total number of 206,200 attendants.

Per 1000 population attendance estimated 63.3. Taking into account that a person can attend several concerts per year, it is more likely that only 20 or 30 out of 1000 Armenian citizens go to concerts. This is in circumstances of 93 concerts out of 499 being philanthropic.

There are 19 enterprises involved in the organization of concerts. The total income in 2010 is AMD 53.3 million (about $145, 000). The average revenues for access charges per concert constitute only AMD 106,700 (about $290), whereas in rural communities the figure amounted to AMD 59,500 (about $160).
