The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Turkey’s pipeline corporation BOTAS will resume talks on transit agreement to transport Azerbaijani gas via Turkey, said head of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev.

According to him, the negotiation process has been slowed but by the end of July active negotiations and meetings will be resumed in order to achieve the final result, Trend agency reports.

Talks with representatives of the pipeline consortiums focused on delivery of Azerbaijani gas to Europe are underway as well.
