YEREVAN. – The dialogue between oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) and authorities is of low quality and promises nothing. Moreover, it is restoration of an unfruitful cooperation, leader of the Union for National Self-Determination party Paruyr Hayrikyan told the journalists on Wednesday.

ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan have cooperated when they discussed important issues, Hayrikyan stated and added that he does not believe the cooperation will bring a change.

“Those representatives of international community, who praised high the dialogue between oppositional ANC and authorities, understand nothing. Constitution makes the tribune for a dialogue. If it fails, then other tribune should be searched for,” Hayrikyan said regarding Ter-Petrosyan’s statement at ANC rally on Tuesday that opposition-authorities dialogue had a positive impact on Armenia for raising its international status.

The dialogue has only registered that authorities are not legitimate. As legitimate authorities have no necessity to search a tribune and make shows, he added.
