YEREVAN. – The Right for Speech union informs that Varuzhan Sahakyan, who shot a video on Vernissage violations and uploaded it on YouTube, was beaten on Wednesday.

“On turning to police he was informed that a woman named Anna claimed of being beaten by Sahakyan. Anna showed indecent behavior in scandalous video on Vernissage. Sahakyan qualifies the charge to be counterfeit. He is kept at police currently,” the release reads. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier informed that according to the union, such actions are accompanied with street impolite behavior and blasphemy in Vernissage. The Right for Speech published proofs as it did not get any responds by the responsible bodies. Moreover, the union demands explanations by the administration of Vernissage and other responsible bodies.
