YEREVAN. – Armenian authorities initiated a wide range of changes in the police system for fight against corruption.

According to the Armenian News-NEWS.am source, arrests of the former head of criminal investigation department Hovhannes Tamamyan and the former chief of Armenia’s road police Margar Ohanyan will not be the only cases. Other officials in police system will also be dismissed.

According to the source, police system intends to raise its deteriorated reputation by dismissing a wide range of infamous officials.
