YEREVAN. – Armenian “We Will not Keep Silent” youth initiative requested a meeting with Armenian MOD Seyran Ohanian on the killings and tragic events recently taking place at army.

The recent cases taken place at the Armenian army shocked the public and made obvious the need of creating effective social control model at armed forces, reads the message released by the initiative.

“We Will not Keep Silent” youth initiative offers to define the principle operating social control in all unities, which will consist of authoritative people residing in the military deployment.

The members of the initiative had previously asked the Defense Ministry’s press secretary David Karapetyan to convey their wish to meet with MOD Seyran Ohanian.

“We won’t keep silent, so that our sons serve in peace” reads the message of the initiative.
