YEREVAN. – Karabakh war participant, former political prisoner and MP, member of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) Sasun Mikayelyan welcomes the authorities-opposition dialogue. However, he believes that authorities play unjust and will cheat at some point, Mikayelyan told the journalists on Monday.
“I do not believe that the dialogue will be fruitful. I am sure that authorities will play as much as it is in their interest. They will cheat at some point,” he said.
Mikayelyal added he will struggle till the end. He did not exclude that ANC may announce sit-on-strike at its coming rally.
In response to a journalist’s question whether he did not think it is wrong that both he and ANC activist Tigran Arakelyan are called political prisoners, while Arakelyan has only cursed a policeman, he responded that he had cursed in court. If the judge curses the law, I curse him, Mikayelyan stated.
