KIEV.- Raffi Hovannisian has arrived in Ukraine’s capital to address the International Consultation of Parliamentarians held on September 18-20.

Parliamentary representatives from throughout Europe have gathered to mark the 70th anniversary of the Babiy Yar massacre and to discuss genocide, racism, and anti-Semitism in the new era, Heritage Party’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Hovannisian held several meetings with officials, including Speaker of Ukraine’s Parliament - Verkhovna Rada, Vice Speaker of the German Bundestag, as well as members of Israeli Knesset, Georgian National Assembly and various European parliaments.

Raffi Hovannisian, former Armenian Foreign Minister, is a leader of Heritage opposition political party which was established in 2002. The party has 7 seats in the Armenian National Assembly.
