WASHINGTON. – Armenian Embassy in U.S., Armenian permanent mission in UN, and American-Armenian organizations held a reception on Friday dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence and Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan’s visit. The President delivered a speech during the reception, President’s presses service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

President Sargsyan awarded the representatives of the Armenian Embassy and the UN permanent mission in New York with medals.

President of Armenian General Benevolent Union Berge Setrakian, founder of Armenian-American Wellness Centre Rita Palian, spiritual leader of Armenian Eastern Diocese in U.S. Ter Khazhak Archbishop Parsamian, Ambassador of Armenia to U.S. Tatul Margaryan and Armenia’s permanent representative in UN Karen Nazaryan were awarded with the medals.
