YEREVAN. – Sources close to Armenian MOD inform that Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army’s Hadrut region commander Martin Jhangiryan was recently relieved from his duties, Zhoghovurd daily writes.  

“Frequent cases of non-statutory relations among military servicemen were recorded at military units under his [Jhangiryan’s] command.      

According to the newspaper’s sources, in the near future the MOD will initiate fairly severe discipline strengthening measures and, as a result, many commanders could be relieved of their duties. Also in the near future, visits will be made to the military units in order to inspect the disciplinary situation and prevent uncommon incidents, before they happen,” Zhoghovurd writes.
