YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Security Council (NSC) has decided to combat against religious organizations in the country.

Inaugural session of the Inter-Administrative Committee on Strategy Planning for Fight Against Destructive Sectarian Movements in Armenia will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. The session will be chaired by NSC Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan, NSC Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Many religious organizations, which NSC defines as “destructive sects,” are legally registered in Armenia.
