NEW YORK. - Special meeting dedicated to UN Security Council Anti-Terrorism committee 10th anniversary was held in the UN on Thursday. Member states discussed trends of international cooperation for anti-terrorism struggle.

Armenian Ambassador to the UN Karen Nazaryan stressed in his speech that given the cross-border nature of terrorism, in situation when borders with two neighboring countries – Turkey and Azerbaijan – are closed, Armenia’s major challenge in the field proves to be the impossibility of regional cooperation. He added that on the international level the countries should make the best use of innovations and practice exchange. In this context Armenia welcomes cooperation between CSTO and NATO member states in the spheres of mutual interest and benefit.
