YEREVAN. – Marking International Day for the Elderly, the Youth Foundation of Armenia, together with capital Yerevan’s City Hall and Youth Organization of ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), on Saturday will organize and excursion for Yerevan’s around 65 residents, who will tour the capital’s scenic sights.

In line with 2010 data, 14.6 percent of Armenia’s population comprises people who are 60 years of age or older. And Youth Foundation’s “Cooperation of Generations: The Youth Alongside the Elderly” program will bring together the elderly and the youth because the formation of a stable, harmonious, and strong society needs collaboration between the generations and their equal involvement in all spheres of public life.
