YEREVAN. – From the liberated territories, the Kashatagh and Shahumyan regions are being actively resettled, Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic; NKR) PM Ara Harutyunyan stated during a briefing with news reporters on Wednesday.
In his words, those regions now have the minimum necessary infrastructures—schools, roads, residential houses—while other regions will be resettled if necessary funding is provided. Until then, however, and to preserve the territories, “a combat-ready army and a will are in need, and all this exists in Artsakh,” NKR PM noted.
Reflecting on Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ upcoming visit, Ara Harutyunyan said Artsakh has nothing new to say. “We are waiting as to when they would agree to our proposals.”
