YEREVAN. - The “State service of employment” in cooperation with Information technological business union organizes an exhibition of Informational technology works parallel to International Technology Exhibition DigiTec 2011 on October 7th.

The event’s aim is to help employers to find the experts they need, and to help employees to find jobs.

This is already the 6th annual exhibition financed by the state budget.

In 2009 such exhibitions were organized in Vanadzor, Artashat, Gyumri, Dilijan, Hrazdan and Kapan. Overall, 218 employers and around 10,750 employees participated in the event.

By September 1, 2011, there were 85.6 thousand unemployed people in Armenia. This number has decreased by 15.5 percent compared to last year.
