YEREVAN. - A saleswoman from the store on Azatutyun Avenue in Yerevan called to the police station and informed that a man robbed their shop by threatening her with a knife.
On that same day at 6.50 p.m. 51-year-old Harutyun Hakobyan was arrested on accusation of robbery, the press service of the police informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
According to police, at 4.00 p.m. he entered the store and by threatening the personnel with a knife took a bottle of brandy. Later he again returned to the store at 6.20 p.m. and again by threatening with a knife tried to take alcohol and cigarettes but this time he was stopped by the shop personnel and the citizens.
The knife is confiscated. Investigation is underway.
