YEREVAN. – The Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (ASCPEC) is studying the matter into the right to provide taxi services at Zvartnots airport, ASCPEC Chairman Artak Shaboyan stated during a press conference on Thursday. In his words, he learned of this issue from the press.

Aravot daily had written that solely Aero and Taxi Tur taxi companies had received the right to provide services at the new terminal of Zvartnots International Airport, and this displeased other taxi companies and private taxi drivers.  

According to Shaboyan, if violations of anti-competitiveness rules are found in this decision, administrative proceedings will be launched.
