YEREVAN. – Armenian Groong Choir and Sirvart Chilingirian Dance Ensemble of Shumen, Bulgaria, on Saturday gave a performance in Bucharest, Romania. 

The concert, which was devoted to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, brought together Romanian Armenians led by Fr. Datev Hagopian, Primate of the Diocese of Romania of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and Varujan Pambuccian, leader of the Romanian Parliament’s National Minorities Group, MFA Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Fr. Avak Hovagimian, Vicar General of the Diocese of Bulgaria, and Hamlet Gasparyan, Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania, also attended the event.

During the gathering that followed, the community leaders and Armenia’s Ambassador welcomed this initiative.
