YEREVAN. – Armenia’s 2012 State Budget will allot 69,6 million drams (US$ 185,400) notes the explanatory section of the State Budget. According to the “Law on Political Parties,” monetary support is provided to the political parties and political party alliances that have received three- or greater-percent votes in the National Assembly elections. This amount is distributed among the parties in proportion to their votes.

It is interesting, however, that although the minimum salaries and the voters’ lists have changed, the sum of this allocation has not changed in the past three years.
