YEREVAN. – Annual Congress of European Movement International (EMI) was held in the Armenian capital Yerevan, from October 20 to 21.  

The event’s working groups discussed the developing of EU assistance to civil society, national reforms, and facilitation of visa requirements. The three working groups jointly prepared the EMI Final Declaration, whereby EMI expresses its support to EU’s “engagement without recognition” strategy, which calls for closer ties with the civil societies of Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and Transnistria, and these civil societies’ involvement in a variety of European programs.
