VANADZOR. – Armenia’s Vanadzor city is getting ready for winter and the first snowfall. And this refers to technical resources, snow-removal equipment, and road salt.
The necessary equipment is all ready, and 35-40 tons of road salt is brought to the city, stated Lyova Melikyan, Head of Utilities and Improvement Department of Vanadzor City Hall. “[But] This is just the first the first quantity because we are assuming, from the weather, that snow is expected soon,” Melikyan noted.
He also added that, even though the number of snow-removal equipment in the city is not much, it is not insufficient either.
