YEREVAN. – The Armenian Government came up with a new initiative, on Thursday, Hayatsk daily writes.

“The journalists can no longer stand in the corridor, after the governmental session, and receive commentaries from officials to the questions of their interest. The argumentation is that the journalists are blocking the officials’ path and are not adhering to government regulations. Yesterday, [PM Press Secretary] Aram Ananyan strictly instructed the journalists to solely work in the press hall and not to speak with officials in the corridor, threatening that ‘otherwise, we will resort to other means.’ Instead, he promised to bring to the press hall the official of the journalists’ interest.

Thus, the Government is reducing the minister-journalist contact, as much as possible. All that remains is to ‘catch’ the ministers at the Government courtyard, on session days, if, of course, in that case they do not instruct the police, who are serving outside, to supervise us,” Hayatsk writes.
