YEREVAN.- Newly appointed Vietnam’s Ambassador to Armenia Fam Suan Shon (residence in Moscow) presented credentials on Thursday to  President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

President Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador wishing success in his diplomatic career, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Ambassador and President Sargsyan discussed issues related to expansion of bilateral relations and cooperation prospects.

The Ambassador said Vietnam’s foreign policy envisages strengthening of relations with Armenia. According to him, Vietnamese people respect Armenia and Armenian people for their assistance rendered since the Soviet times.
