YEREVAN. – Authorities are experiencing serious gaps, which will be continuous, oppositional Social Democratic Hunchakyan Party (SDHP) leader, Armenian National Congress (ANC) member Lyudmila Sargsyan said at a press conference on Thursday.
According to her, the recent appointments do not lead to the state’s development. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is well aware that he has to get rid of the former President Robert Kocharyan’s staff to strengthen his candidacy in the upcoming elections. Moreover, we shall still expect new resignations and appointments, oppositional figure stated.
Sargsyan would dream of holding snap elections. The more time passes the more the positions of ruling Republican Party are getting weaker. In addition, the team shows mistrust for the President. However, Sargsyan cannot make a final agreement with coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). He tries to blackmail and receive a statement from PAP that it will support his candidacy in presidential elections, SDHP leader stated.
Besides, ANC analyses seriously the situation, while opposition’s steps will be more visible at the November 25 rally.
