YEREVAN. – The Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia will most likely adopt a decision to completely prohibit “access” to Lake Sevan during the spawning period of fish, Nature Protection Minister, Aram Harutyunyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

At the end of this month the Ministry will adopt a decision to prohibit all types of fishing at Lake Sevan. And in parallel with this, the control will be toughened.     

The Minister also promised a stricter control at capital Yerevan’s markets, to ban the sale of fish caught from Lake Sevan.
