YEREVAN. – In November 2011, Armenia’s 12-month inflation comprised 4.8 percent, Armenian National Statistical Service informed. And for the first time in 2011, the inflation’s 12-month rate was within the range outlined by the law, with 4+-1.5 percent.       

The 12-month inflation in food products—including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes—is 6.4 percent, that of non-food products is 3.8 percent, and that of service rates is 2.6 percent.     

In comparison with October, 1.2 percent inflation was recorded in November, which was 2.1 percent for food products.

In January-November 2011, Armenia’s average monthly inflation of consumer prices was 0.2 percent, which is 0.5 percent less than the same time period last year.
