YEREVAN. – Fiftieth birth anniversary of Armenia’s national hero, Movses Gorgisyan, will be marked on Saturday. He will be remembered during Saturday’s ceremony at capital Yerevan’s Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, where his tomb lays.   

Also on the same day, a commemorative event will be held at Yerevan’s Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall, the Movses Gorgisyan Foundation informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

To note, Movses Gorgisyan, the flagbearer of Armenia’s independence, was killed on January 18, 1990, during the battle nearby Yeraskhavan village.
