YEREVAN. – Armenia’s ruling Republican Party chooses young members for the Parliament, deputy chairman of the Republican Party, MP Razmik Zohrabyan said at a press conference on Friday commenting on the party’s decision to appoint Samvel Nikoyan and Edward Sharmazanov as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively. 

Regarding the incident in the Parliament on Thursday, when Nikoyan got nervous and another Republican MP Arakel Movsisyan cursed on the address of the oppositional Heritage group MP Armen Martirosyan, Zohrabyan said that Armenia registers such cases fewer compared to other states. However, one should be reserved in choosing words.

According to him, list of the Republican MPs will also be freshened. Besides, businessman will be reduced in the proportional list, while anyone wishing can stand in single list.
