YEREVAN. - Presentation of jointly published “Higher linguistic education from the perspective of reforms: New approaches, prospects and challenges” book by UNESCO-CEPES and Yerevan State Linguistic University (YSLU) will take place on December 6 in Yerevan.

The current volume represents a selection of research papers, speeches and presentations delivered at the international conferences “Higher Linguistic Education from the Perspective of Reforms: New approaches, prospects, and challenges” and “Language through Culture”, which convened on November 15-18 last year in Yerevan, dedicated to the occasion of 75th anniversary of YSLU.

This joint publication presents concrete case studies of the reforms shaping faculties and institutions of higher language learning across the region, as well as the intensified efforts to enhance student learning experiences through formal inter-institutional linkages and collaboration.

UNESCO places high importance and value on cultural intelligence through the creation of international and regional opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences in higher education.

YSLU chancellor Suren Zolyan, head of Science Committee of Armenian Ministry of Education Harutyunyan, and MFA representatives will have a welcoming speech.
