YEREVAN. – Yerevan hosted Armenia-European Union third meeting on human rights dialogue on Tuesday.

The dialogue is an opportunity to exchange ideas on human rights situation in Armenia and EU.  The discussion included issues on national system of human rights protection, judicial improvements, freedom of information and rights of vulnerable groups. 

Armenian and EU delegations also discussed cooperation with international organizations on human rights, particularly with UN, OSCE and European Council.

Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, while EU delegation was headed by the EU Personal Representative for Human Rights (CFSP) Riina Kionka.
