YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan met with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, who is in Armenia on an official visit.

And after their private conversation, a work dinner was held, in honor of the high level guest, during which Armenia’s PM presented the country’s economic situation and development prospects.   

The interlocutors discussed the possibilities for cooperation in several domains of economy. And in this context, they highlighted the forums being held jointly by Armenian and Lebanese businessmen. They also stressed the effective level of cooperation in the banking sector, and the cooperation in the financial sector and in terms of agricultural development. It was noted that all the opportunities do exist toward increasing trade and economic relations.     

Armenian PM and Lebanese President also reflected on using the current potential of cooperation in the tourism sector, adding that the increasing of flights between the countries could contribute to this, Government Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
