YEREVAN. – According to the publications in the press, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan’s opinion became decisive when discussing the nominations of the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MPs Hovhannes Sahakyan and Gagik Melikyan for the office of National Assembly’s RPA Faction Secretary, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“According to these publications, PM told [President] Serzh Sargsyan that Melikyan was a ‘good one.’ In response to Zhoghovurd’s query as to what [Tigran] Sargsyan meant by calling him a ‘good one,’ Melikyan said: ‘I was not present at that discussion at the [RPA Executive Body] EB. Ask the PM. He probably meant that I am good,’” Zhoghovurd writes.
