YEREVAN. – Yerevan will hold Ardzak-2011 short story and novel competition award ceremony on Tuesday as a prelude for events on the occasion of 500th anniversary of book publication and declaring Armenia’s capital city a world book capital next year.
The competition aims to give the description of the genre of the Armenian modern short story and novel. Over 121 stories were presented for the competition. Authors of three best books became winners with AMD 300,000 ($810), 100,000 ($270) and 50,000 ($135) respectively for the first, second and third places.
