YEREVAN. – Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan received Mania Henriette Ahrens, the newly-appointed UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) Representative in Armenia, and congratulated Ahrens on her appointment. “Armenia highly assesses the cooperation with UNICEF, and the latter’s activities toward solving the problems of our country’s children,” Sargsyan said. He also noted that Armenia’s government is prepared to discuss the programs for future bilateral cooperation. In her turn, Mania Henriette Ahrens said UNICEF’s Armenia Office will continue its activities toward strengthening cooperation with Armenia, and carrying out the Fund’s mission and objectives. Also, Tigran Sargsyan specifically underscored the introduction of the foster family system in Armenia.
