YEREVAN. - Sassoun detachment commander, former MP and oppositional Armenian National Congress member Sassoun Mikayelyan is planning to participate in the coming mayor elections in Armenian Hrazdan city on February 12, 2012, Mikayelyan himself informed the reporter of Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him he has made that decision under the pressure of the public.

“I have always struggled and I will struggle now too. We go for a just election. More than that, our struggle will be significant because for the first time just elections will be held in this country. And if they try to falsify elections it is their problem. We shall fight,” Sasun Mikayelyan added.
