A fire broke out Tuesday in a shack in Armenia’s Vanadzor city. Six people had lived in the shack, and, fortunately, they were not inside at the time.

According to initial theory, the shack had caught fire because of power oscillation. And in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am, the shack’s owner said he agreed with this theory.

The family, which lives in this 18 m2 shack, is socially disadvantaged. And although the fire was not very extensive, it caused a serious damage to the shack, since it was built from wood. A firefighting squad was dispatched to the scene, and it extinguished the fire.

In a conversation Armenian News-NEWS.am, the shack’s resident, Kamo Kocharyan, informed he was at work, at the time of the fire, while his wife and four underage children were outside the shack.
