YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia adopted a decision Thursday, according to which the country’s female prisoners will now receive ten—instead of five—hygiene items per month.
According to the Justice Ministry’s report, the current quantity being provided to the female inmates, per month, is insufficient for properly maintaining their hygiene.
Now, an additional 460,800-dram (approx. US$ 1,193) funding will be necessary, per year, to implement this decision.
