YEREVAN. – To interrogate off parliamentary opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader, first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan, it is necessary to do the same with Armenian second and third Presidents, ANC member Gagik Jhangiryan said at a press conference on Monday in response to the question regarding Ter-Petrosyan’s possible interrogation on March 1, 2008, tragic events, when 10 people were killed in demonstrations in Yerevan downtown.

As for whether Jhangiryan is going to run for the MP seat, he said that it is not a key goal. However, if it should support in establishing legality in the state, he does not mind. Regarding the shift to proportional system, he said it is all the same for him whether the system is proportional or majoritarian.

To note, all the oppositional powers, including the ANC, are for the proportional system.
