YEREVAN. – Davit Hakobyan, head of the Marxist Party of Armenia, will run in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and he will contend at the 41st Electoral District with the majority election system. Hakobyan himself informed about this during a press conference on Friday.  

He noted that his party’s members will nominate themselves with the majority system, and that he will vie for a parliamentary seat from Tavush Region. He also ruled out forming or joining a bloc.  

Davit Hakobyan also informed about the Marxist Party’s election slogans: a new Constitution, from the viewpoint of economy; a new electoral right; and a new state apparatus.
