YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Seyran Ohanyan, visited Tuesday the French University in Armenia, in connection with the Armenian Armed Forces Day 20th anniversary.     

Ohanyan spoke about the Armenian army’s history, including its modern-day challenges, and the prospects for cooperation, with the institutions of higher learning, in terms of education and preparing of personnel, MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

Also, Seyran Ohanyan awarded the Armenian Armed Forces’ “Military Cooperation” Medal to the University’s Rector Joelle Le Morzellec, and several lecturers were awarded the “Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia: 20 Years” Anniversary Medal.
