YEREVAN. – Armenian Ambassador to Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan visited on Monday Lidice village in the outskirts of Prague which was built to replace a village destroyed by Nazi.
The Ambassador observe a minute of silence to pay tribute to the memory of peaceful population killed in Lidice, as well as visited the museum and left notes in the memorial book, Armenia’s MFA’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
To note, Czech Republic commemorates June 10 as Remembrance Day of Lidice victims.
In 2010 Armenian children’s pictures were exhibited in the Lidice museum. Besides, Armenian sculpture Davit Yerevantsi’s work is placed in the village park.
