YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan received OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Elections Department Deputy Head Nicola Schmidt. They examined the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia.
The interlocutors specifically reflected on OSCE’s short- and long-term monitoring mission during the elections, NSC Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
They also underscored the need to secure a level playing field for all participants in the elections during their campaigning, and the collaboration, among the election commissions, to most effectively organize the tallying of the voting results.
Arthur Baghdasaryan noted that Armenia’s authorities aim to do their utmost to organize fair and transparent elections.
