YEREVAN. – Yerkir daily’s reporter looked for MP Lyova Khachatryan everywhere in the National Assembly building, but he was nowhere to be found, the daily writes.
“It became apparent that the MP is not coming to the Parliament because the roads in his native Yernjatap village [nearby Aparan city] are closed [due to heavy snowfall], and he has remained a ‘hostage’ in the village. ‘Once the road is opened, I will come to [capital] Yerevan, [and] respond to your questions,’ the MP promised. Incidentally, Lyova Khachatryan’s absence was probably conditioned on this circumstance, since numerous Aparan residents confirmed that the Yerevan-Aparan Highway is [now] difficult to drive,” Yerkir writes.
