TBILISI - Due to heavy snowfall, travel at Georgia’s Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is prohibited for trailers and for buses seating more than thirty passengers, as of Saturday morning.
Traffic is solely permitted for semi-trailers and other vehicles with chained wheels, and for two-passenger jeeps. And the Gudauri road section of the aforesaid Highway is closed, at present, Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department informs.
