YEREVAN. – It is not serious to comment on statements of political corpses, off parliamentary opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) spokesperson Arman Musinyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am regarding head of ruling coalition member Orinats Yerkir Party Arthur Baghdasaryan’s remark on Wednesday. Baghdasaryan said that it was impossible to cooperate with ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan after 2008 presidential elections as he had called him ‘a traitor’ during the election campaign.
In response to the question if there was indeed such a statement before the presidential elections, Musinyan advised to study all the statements prior to the elections and to agree that it is not serious to comment on statements by political corpses.
Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed that according to Baghdasaryan, cooperation with off parliamentary opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is impossible as a matter of fact after 2008 presidential elections,
“How can I cooperate with a person who insulted me during the election campaign and called ‘a traitor’? Baghdasaryan said.
To note, Baghdasaryan, just as Ter-Petrosyan, was a radical opposition during the 2008 election campaign. However, he sharply changed his position after post-election processes and became a member of the ruling coalition.
