YEREVAN. – The Armenian Apostolic Church is celebrating Quinquagesima, the Sunday before the Great Lent.
In general, moderate amount of enjoyments, festivities, games, and food are allowed during the Quinquagesima, the Araratian Pontifical Diocese informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
And only food of plant origin is used during Lent.
