YEREVAN. – The Center for Armenian Parliamentarism claims that PM Tigran Sargsyan has violated the requirements of Armenia’s Law and carried out a campaign, in favor of the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), by using large state resources for the Party interests.

And according to the Center’s Director Ruben Torosyan, as a result the Armenian citizens’ equal right to vote was breached upon, and therefore on Monday the Center submitted a complaint to the Central Election Commission.

It is noted in particular that, while at the Ararat Region on February 25, PM Sargsyan had also stressed that RPA is a party in power, they form a majority at the National Assembly, they formed a government with the coalition partners, and this means they are obligated to present to their voters their activities for the past five years.

During his visit to the Region, Sargsyan was accompanied by Ararat Regional Governor Edik Barseghyan, RPA Executive Body member Gagik Minasyan, Government members, and RPA representatives.
