YEREVAN. – Many years ago entrepreneur Varuzhan Sargsyan started a company SABERATOURS-SEVAN, the idea that first seemed to be an adventure, but it came to life and now contributes to the development of Armenian-French relations, Ambassador said.

During the Thursday press conference Henri Reynaud said the initiative of Sargsyan eventually attracted and interested entrepreneur Levon Baghdasaryan. Nowadays their idea became a bridge for the French tourists wishing to visit Armenia.

The Ambassador also noted that as a result of their joint activities Europe hotel was opened ten years ago. Another move to ensure the flow of Armenian tourists to France was opening of EXECUTIVE – Travel agency which is the exclusive representative of Air France. In addition, this year also marks the 25th anniversary of SABERATOURS-SEVAN.

Henri Reynaud noted that the anniversaries coincided with Beaujolais Nouveau, a traditional wine feast celebrated in France.
