It’s impossible to imagine the process of Syrian crisis normalization without Iran’s participation.

Armenian MP at Iranian Parliament, Karen Khanlaryan, told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

In his words, Iran’s participation in the talks over Syrian issue will in any case lead to positive results. “The solution of regional issues is impossible without the participation of Iran. Due to its political and historical significance, Iran is considered a stable state which can contribute to any peacemaking process,” Karen Khanlaryan said.

Currently, he continued, the political approaches of both Turkey and Saudi Arabia contain quite a lot of threats for establishing that peace. “That is, these two large states take measures threatening peace, and this must be somehow balanced. I think, due to its political stability, Iran creates such an opportunity and can contribute to the achievement of the actual objective of the talks,” the MP added.  

On February 12, member-countries of International Syria Support Group (ISSG) agreed to use their influence for the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid.
